‘… one of the most relaxing country houses.  Such a great place to be introduced to Offa’s Dyke and the Welsh Marches’

‘Upper House is the perfect rural idyll.  The peace and tranquillity of the house and its environs is edifying for both the body and the spirit … This is a very special place’

‘A wonderful break from the noise of London … with complete peace and gentle light that falls as on a Dutch painting – through old glass and reflecting off the stone floors.  The furniture is beautiful, particularly the double bed in the smaller bedroom and the long table in the dining room.  When we briefly ventured outside, the Judge’s Lodging proved to be a good trip… Thank you for a relaxing and luxurious stay…’
