The Presteigne Festival of Music is an acclaimed annual event held locally over six music-filled days during the late August bank holiday weekend. Upper House is a highly picturesque small Tudor Manor House which offers the opportunity to stay in a truly historic environment. With an inglenook fireplace, extensive gardens and terraces guests can relax on their return from the concerts and recitals. There is extremely comfortable accommodation for up to six people. With flag-stoned or oak floors, each room in the house is furnished with a mixture of antiques and examples of John Nethercott’s furniture – restored or made in one of the barns that house his workshops across the courtyard.
